Chetana Alumni scaling great heights: Ever since we launched our professional media training in 2002, the Diploma and Certificate courses, first of its kind in Kerala, the outcome was as we had predicted. Our objective was to equip young people to take up employment or self-employment in diverse fields of media, like Film, Television, Radio, New Media/ Web technologies and the like.
Till date, we have trained 18 batches of One Year Full Time Diploma in Filmmaking (with Direction and Cinematography specialisation), around more than 100 batches of Certificate Course in Film/Video Editing and 20 batches of Certificate course in Photography and Videography.

COURSES
One Year Diploma & Short Term Certificate
Chetana offers a versatile stream of Diploma and short term Certificate courses in Digital Filmmaking, through a scientific training package called INSTRUCTION, PRODUCTION and INTERACTION. Our comprehensive media training programme is designed with a single aim: Create Professionals for the Digital Age, who can WRITE, SHOOT and EDIT cost effective films.
DIPLOMA IN DIGITAL FILM MAKING (DFM)
Course Orientation & commencement: JUNE 5, 2024
- Course Timings: Monday-Friday, 9am. – 5pm
- Eligibility: Pus II and above
- Fee concession to eligible women and economically backward candidates.
- Module: ORIENTATION Course and COMMON Course ( 5 months) end with a 5-minutes continuity film; SPECIALISATIONS (7 months: Direction or Cinematography or Editing), STUDENT’S FILM
- Projects: Continuity Film, Short Film, Dialogue Exercise Film and the DIPLOMA FILM
- Course Fee: covers Tuition and the Production Expenses of all students’ film projects.
