This is a biopic of Kadambari Devi, the sister-in-law of Robindranath Tagore and wife of his elder brother Jyotirindranath Tagore. In 1868 when Kadambari came to the Thakur family, Robidranath was 7 years old and Kadambari was 2 years elder. Robi shared a good bond with his sister-in-law. In fact, there was a lot of talk regarding the relationship they shared as Kadambari committed suicide soon after his wedding.
